This is not an RSU12 sponsored event. The Erskine Academy National Honor Society will be hosting a Valentine's Dance for students in grades K - 6 on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Erskine Academy gym. Students from our sending schools are invited to attend and may bring one adult chaperone. Attached is a flyer with all the details including a link to a Google Form where parents can RSVP if they plan to attend. Parents may pre-purchase tickets by sending a check to Erskine Academy to Betsy Benner's attention or stopping by EA, or tickets may also be purchased at the door (note--there will be an express check in line for those who pre-purchase tickets). If folks decide to pre-purchase tickets, Betsy will email you your ticket as long as you send your check by February 2, 2024. Please feel free to reach out to Betsy Benner at bbenner@erskine247.com with any questions.

Depending on the assessment, we may need to cancel school for the whole day tomorrow. Another communication will be sent out tomorrow morning at around 7 am with an update on whether or not school will be canceled for the day.

There are many roads blocked throughout RSU 12. Please expect your student to be late getting home today. Also, some phones may down in some of our buildings. If you can not get through to the office, then you can try to email the office. Thank you for your patience as we work to get everyone home safely.

To: WHES Parents/Guardians of Students in Grades 3-8 From: Meagan Bowdoin, WHES Student Support Specialist Every year district-wide we look for student feedback on school climate. The school climate survey is designed to provide us with information regarding how students feel about their school. The School Climate Survey: Elementary issued for grades 3-6/ Secondary Level Survey for grades 7-8, is an anonymous survey used to identify school climate issues within our school. The survey for elementary school students includes 11 questions/9 questions for secondary and should take no more than 10–15 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous, but parents/guardians should be given the option to opt-out if desired. The data collected from the survey will be used to identify student perceptions of school climate issues within our school. School staff use the results to inform our efforts at improving our school climate. Responses are housed securely in an anonymous format with the University of Oregon Technical Assistance Center projects for evaluation research purposes. If you do not wish for your child to participate in this important activity or want a copy of the survey, please email Meagan Bowdoin @ mbowdoin@svrsu.org.
