Don't forget the Penny Games are under way. This is a great fundraiser for the PTA. They do so much for our school. Let's show them some support! There are containers in the hallway labeled for each class.
Whitefield School is hosting the Scholastic Book Fair this week with a public event tonight, Tuesday, November 29th from 3 - 7 p.m. It is located in the Learning Commons and the materials available are for grades Pre-K to 8th grade. Thank you for supporting our school.
Whitefield School will be having a three bus run tomorrow, November 22nd. This will be both morning and afternoon. We will follow the same schedule that we did today. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Whitefield School will be having a three bus run this afternoon. This will effect the drop off times of some students. You can expect drop off times to be the same as previous three bus run drop offs. Picking your child up after school, if possible, will help the buses be less crowded and shorten the bus runs . We thank you for your patience and understanding.
I need 80 bricks for a project at school. They need to be free of cement on the sides. My students are studying the Stone Age and have a challenge to build and recreate some prehistoric structures. Does anyone have some laying around that they are willing to part with?

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be conducting a three bus run this morning. This will affect the pick up times of students who ride Mr. Cote's bus only. This is the bus run that includes Hilton and Heath Road, East River Road, Headtide Road and the lower end of route 194.
Pick up for these students will begin after the other buses do their run and will start around 7:50am. There will be two buses picking up students on Mr. Cote's run so the wait time will not be long. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to the people on Mr. Cote's bus run and you are welcome to slef transport your students to school. You may dropnoff as early as 7:30am if need be.

The Whitefield School is hosting the Scholastic Book Fair - it has arrived and will be open until Dec. 5th. We have two evening events: Parent-Teacher Conference Night on Nov. 22nd and Tuesday, Nov. 28th from 3-7 p.m. We are also using E-Wallet this year - for more information please see our Book Fair website: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/whitefieldelementaryschool4. Harvest/ Pumpkin Sale!
Whitefield School is celebrating Maine Harvest Lunch tomorrow. Beth's Farm is providing broccoli and cauliflower, Emory's is providing the peaches, and the fish is coming from the Maine Coast Fishermen's Alliance. We love our local foods!
