Kindergarten students must be 5 yrs old on or before October 15th.
We are accepting applications for a bus driver position.
We also have a great need for substitutes.
Being a substitute is great for anyone looking to get their foot in the door for a career at a school, for retired persons, stay at home parents, part time workers looking for extra income and those who hate driving to work on snowy days. Subs are needed in all areas including teachers, ed techs, custodial, kitchen, office and bus drivers.
All after school activities are canceled for this afternoon. This includes drama club. If you need to make alternate drop off destinations for your child, please call the school before 2pm. Other wise students will be dropped off at their normal after school destination.
Information on our Drama Club starting tomorrow. If you child will be staying, please let the office know by note, email or phone call before dismissal tomorrow.
We met our goal for our pet food drive! Today we have 160 items total. A new challenge has been wagered. If we can collect a total of 300 items before Friday (that is 140 more) then we will be able to tape Mr. Deblois to the wall as well as Nurse Kendra.
If your child is participating in the drama program after school on Thursdays, starting tomorrow, please remember to send them in with a note letting the office staff know they can stay. You may also email Amy Perkins with permission at aperkins@svrsu.org.

Whitefield School loves to read! Our readers have read over 23,000 minutes as of this Monday morning! There are 3 more days of reading. Students have until 6PM on Wednesday, March 1st to enter minutes. Don’t forget to enter those minutes! You will not be able to enter minutes later than Wednesday, no exceptions!
Donations can still be accepted AFTER Wednesday, for up to 1 week. You are encouraged to share on Facebook (again!), email grandparents, family members, and friends, and send text messages to ask for donations. This can all be done easily from your readers home page. We have raised an AMAZING $4080.00 dollars so far! Let’s see if we can make it to $5000 in the next week!
Prizes will be distributed in the next two weeks and remind your readers that everyone who gets to 500 minutes wins a prize bag!
None of this would be possible without parents, guardians, teachers, and staff. So thank you for supporting the read-a-thon!

Please remind your students to check the lost and found on Friday. All items left in the lost and found over February vacation will be donated. We also encourage parents to stop by and look through the lost and found.
Spring school pictures are scheduled for April 5th. More information to come.
We are experiencing some issues with one of our buses. Students on Mr. Davis' run will be late being picked up. This includes Cooper Road, all Hunts Meadow Roads, Route 17, Benner Lane and Gardiner Road. If you are able to bring your students to school this morning please do so. We are working on the issue, but a bus for pick up may not go out until 7:50am. We are hoping for sooner.

Annual Dodgeball Tournament info
The RSU 12 Board of Directors meeting for tonight, February 9, 2023 has been cancelled.
This is a reminder that we will be conducting a 3 bus run both morning and afternoon on Monday, February 13th and Tuesday, February 14th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We encourage you to drop off and pick up your students if this causes any issues and you are able to.
The Sunshine Committee is selling Valentine Candy Grams for $1.00 each. Order forms went home with students last week. Candy Grams may be purchased for friends, teachers, coaches, siblings, parents, grandparents or anyone you wish to send one too. If you have any questions please ask your teacher for help.
Please return the forms back to school anytime between tomorrow and February 10th.
Your teachers will have more forms if you need them.
Candy Grams will be delivered on Feb. 14th. Tto the classrooms.
Money raised will go towards spreading sunshine to teachers as well as students!!!!
