Art Club is cancelled for today!
Palermo Palooza is tonight! If you didn't R.S.V.P., it's NOT a problem. We want everyone to join us. Just show up and be ready to have some fun. Open gym starts at 5 p.m. Practice hands only CPR at the American Heart Association station during open gym too. The potluck dinner is from 6-6:30 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m. We have lots of fun prizes to give away for bingo winners. Plus, all Palermo students can enter to win 1 of 2 $25 gift cards to 1-7-10 Sport Center in Augusta.

Due to the predicted snow this afternoon, all RSU 12 schools will dismiss at 11:00 am today, Friday, January 26th.

Due to the weather forecast for this afternoon, all RSU 12 after-school activities and athletics after 4 pm are canceled today.
At the January 2024 board meeting, the RSU 12 Board of Directors voted to amend this year's school calendar due to the unexpected amount of storm/emergency days we have had so far. There are two calendar amendments. March 15th will be a full student day. April 12th will be a student day with early dismissal at 11:30 am. We are running with 2 buses tomorrow and possibly Thursday. All kiddos on North Palermo Road and Level Hill Road to Bowler Pond will be on Roy’s bus. Everyone on Parmenter Road, Hostile Valley Road, Level Road from Hostile Valley Road down and Route 3 will be on Carroll’s bus. Please be advised that pick up and drop off times for ALL students will likely be different than normal. We are sorry for the inconvenience but we do not have exact times due to these changes. Please be on the lookout for the buses! Thanks for your help with this.

We will be short one bus driver tomorrow, so all of the kiddos on Roy's bus will be picked up and dropped off by Blake. Kiddos on North Palermo Road will likely be picked up early in the morning so please be prepared for this. We are sorry for the inconvenience. One more day folks, we can do this!!

Roads in RSU 12 are mostly clear now. All RSU 12 schools will be open tomorrow. RSU 12 will have a full day of school.
Due to the extensive power outages and blocked roads, all RSU 12 schools are closed today, Tuesday, December 19th.
There are still too many impassable roads throughout RSU 12 and extensive power outages, so all RSU 12 schools are closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20th.
Due to storm damage and power outages, we will have a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, December 19th. This delay will allow time for cleanup and assessment of the situation. Depending on the assessment, we may need to cancel school for the whole day tomorrow. Another communication will be sent out tomorrow morning at around 7 am with an update on whether or not school will be canceled for the day.
There are many roads blocked throughout RSU 12. Please expect your student to be late getting home today. Also, some phones may down in some of our buildings. If you can not get through to the office, then you can try to email the office. Thank you for your patience as we work to get everyone home safely.
