FYI for 8th grade students and parents:
Spring school pictures will be on Monday, March 29th. 8th graders will be having their picture taken on this day for their end of the year promotion certificate. There is no charge to 8th grade parents for this unless you buy a package.
Other than 8th graders, only students who are buying pictures will have them taken and there are no retakes for spring pictures. Information and order forms will be sent home soon.
Today we hosted our 8th grade pickleball championship games.

Gifted and Talented Notice
Spring referrals for the Gifted and Talented Program are being accepted from March 1st to March 22nd. Please note that the window closes on March 22nd. If you feel your child excels or has the potential to excel beyond his/her age level peers in academics or art/music (VPA) you can make a referral for the Gifted and Talented Program. A referral can be made by a teacher, staff member, or parent. We do recommend, however, you consult with your child's teacher before making a referral. Please contact Hollie Hilton, the GT Coordinator, at hhilton@svrsu.og for a referral form for either academics or visual art/music (VPA).

All RSU 12 after school activities are cancelled this afternoon due to the predicted snow. Community Learning Center is also cancelled.
Due to the snowstorm tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16th, food deliveries for Whitefield will take place on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Chelsea food will be delivered Thursday. There is no Community Learning Center tomorrow. Thank you.
I am very pleased to announce that we’ll be able to deliver meals over the February break. Meal delivery dates will be Tuesday, February 16th buses leave at 8:30 am and Friday, February 19th buses leave at 8:30 am. If you are currently on the food delivery list that was initiated last spring and summer you do not need to respond to this email and you can expect food delivery on the specified dates above. If you do not want food delivery over February break and are currently on the list please contact Meagan Soule (msoule@svrsu.org) as soon as possible. Please encourage your child go through the lost and found for misplaced belongings. Items left in the lost and found at the end of the day on February 12th will be donated to Goodwill over the vacation week
