Palermo Consolidated School Bus Routes
Roy Donahue: Haskell/Coffin home at 6:50, Martin Woods Road at 6:55, Arnold Lane at 7:05, Chisholm Pond Road at 7:10, North Palermo Road at 7:15, Rowe Road 7:20, Carrs Corner Road/Meegwetch Horizon/Nelson Lane 7:25, Right side only of North Palermo Road to the Branch 7:30, Branch Mills Road at 7:35, Great Expectations Daycare at 7:40, Christiansen home at 7:45, Route 3 at 7:50. Please note this route is different than it has been in the past.
Carroll Brann: Jacobs home at 6:50, Turner Ridge Road 7:00, Horak Lane at 7:05, Potter home at 7:10, Turner Ridge Road 7:15, Route 3 at 7:20, Banton Road at 7:25, Route 3 at 7:35, Seigars home at 7:40, Jones Road (Route 3 side) at 7:45, Route 3 at 7:50.
In the afternoon, Carroll will drop off on the Route 3 side of Jones Road, turn around and head back to Route 3, to Turner Ridge Road, the Potter home on Jones Road, Horak Lane, Turner Ridge Road and Colby Road, if necessary, then head to Route 3, Banton Road, back to Route 3, Plummer Road, and Route 3. Please note this afternoon route is different than it has been in the past.
Clinton: Route begins at the Plummer home on North Palermo Road at 6:50, Clinton will be picking up ONLY kiddos on the right side of North Palermo Road from the Branch to Level Hill Road, Level Hill Road 7:00, Hostile Valley Road at 7:10, Level Hill Road at 7:20, Boots and Saddle Road 7:25, Parmenter Road at 7:35, Route 3 at 7:45.
Bus times may vary by 5-10 minutes either way. For those of you who live at the end of a road where the bus would not have to go if he didn’t need to grab your kiddos, we will give you the bus driver's phone number and ask that you call him in the morning to let him know no pick up is necessary. Thanks for helping us make the bus routes work.
Palermo Youth Activities will be holding their first field day/ soccer sign ups on Sunday the 21st at 6pm-7, then Saturday the 27th from 6pm-7!

On Wednesday, May 25th, at 6:30pm at the Chelsea Elementary School, the RSU 12 Board of Directors will be holding the RSU 12 District Budget Meeting. This town-meeting style meeting is the first step in a two-step budget process. RSU 12 citizens at the meeting vote on each cost center of the school budget. The second step of the process is on June 14th when citizens vote at local polling stations on whether or not they approve the budget that was decided on at the May 25th District Budget Meeting. The RSU 12 Board of Directors encourages all RSU 12 residents to attend the RSU 12 District Budget Meeting on Wednesday.

Sheepscot Valley RSU 12 and its partners were awarded $99,853 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm to School Program to expand local food programs and support connections to students and their communities. Through this grant, school nutrition staff will receive additional support, education, and training to efficiently serve local foods and connect those efforts to agricultural education in the classroom and community. Coordination between the classroom and the cafeteria will promote healthy, local food choices for students to increase student engagement around food choices and to increase meal participation. As part of that grant, we are celebrating May's Harvest of the Month - Blueberries.
