A reminder to all RSU 12 incoming freshman - a Residency Affidavit must be completed before your student begins high school for tuition purposes. The forms need to be taken to your local town office where they will notarize it for free and verify your residency and then be sent to the Superintendent's Office. The Superintendent will sign the form and they will be sent to the high school of choice. The forms can be found at www.svrsu.org, Menu>Documents>Student Forms. If you have any questions, please contact the Superintendent's Office.

Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10th, is voting day for the RSU 12 School Budget. Please don't forget to vote at your local polling station!
This is a reminder that if you are a resident of RSU 12, the RSU 12 District Budget meeting will take place this Wednesday, May 21st, at 6:30pm in the Chelsea Elementary School gym. Residents will vote on whether or not to approve the proposed budget, which has been unanimously endorsed by the RSU 12 Board of Directors. Please attend this important meeting. The budget approved on May 21st will go to referendum in all towns for a final vote on June 10th.

Attention RSU 12 families! It is time to enroll for next year's preK program. If you have a child who will be 4-years-old on October 1, 2025, please contact the school in your town to ask about enrolling your child in PreK. The preK program is an all-day program and includes breakfast, lunch, and rest time as well as rich play-based learning experiences based on the PreK for ME curriculum. Each of our preK classrooms partners with Head Start. Contact any RSU 12 school for more information and to begin the enrollment process.

All RSU 12 schools will dismiss early today, March 24th, at 11:30 a.m. due to the predicted storm.
The weather forecast predicts snow starting this morning around 9 am and continuing until 2 p.m., and then an ice and rain mix. Our 2:30 dismissal will be difficult. It will be challenging to transport students home safely. Therefore, all RSU 12 schools are closed today.
The RSU 12 Board of Director's meeting is canceled for Thursday, February 13th.
