RSU 12 would like to improve its communication efforts. We want to be sure that parents and community members know what is happening in our schools and that we are providing information in a way that works for them.
In order for us to make improvements, we need your help. We would like to know what kinds of things you'd like to hear about and how we can best communicate.
Please join me on Wednesday, October 10:00 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Windsor Elementary School for an informal discussion to provide some input about how we can improve our communication efforts. This will be an opportunity for you to share your ideas, thoughts about what you'd like to see, and positive communication experiences you've had that we can learn from. We will brainstorm topics that you want to hear about, how often you'd like to have communication, and what kinds of communication means (paper newsletters, website updates, mobile apps, etc.) you'd prefer.
If you are able to join us, please RSVP to Deb Taylor at dtaylor@svrsu.org
Mark your calendars for our fall Scholastic Book Fair, running in the school library from Oct. 22 - 26. We'll be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences, too.
See who's hanging out in Ms. Diket's classroom! Thanks to all who supported her Amazon Wishlist. Thanks to the Maine State Aquarium for outfitting her classroom with the critters and knowledge of how to maintain the tank.
Thanks, PAWS, for the sweet treat to start off the school year! We're glad to be here...and we're glad you're here.
