Back to school letters were put in the mail today! All students who are currently enrolled at Windsor School should receive a letter within a few days. To keep postage costs down, we sent letters to one address per student. If you do not receive a paper copy, please email us (hwilson@svrsu.org or sdancer@svrsu.org) and we will send you an electronic copy. Please let us know if you are unable to get any of the school supplies requested by your child's teacher. Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10th, is voting day for the RSU 12 School Budget. Please don't forget to vote at your local polling station!
We will be doing hand tiles tomorrow, June 9, during the school day. If you ordered a tile for someone who is not a current student at Windsor, please come in to the main office to check in and we will help you get your tile completed. Attention parents of incoming kindergarten students: If you have a child that will be in kindergarten this fall, please call the Windsor School office at 445-2356 or come in to get enrollment paperwork. If your child has not been in a pre-k program in the district, s/he can get screened at the Somerville location on June 11th or 12th. We will help you set up that appointment when you call. Due to the weather forecast for May 23, we will postpone Windsor Pride Outside day to Tuesday, May 27.
This is a reminder that if you are a resident of RSU 12, the RSU 12 District Budget meeting will take place this Wednesday, May 21st, at 6:30pm in the Chelsea Elementary School gym. Residents will vote on whether or not to approve the proposed budget, which has been unanimously endorsed by the RSU 12 Board of Directors. Please attend this important meeting. The budget approved on May 21st will go to referendum in all towns for a final vote on June 10th.
Both softball and baseball games have been cancelled this afternoon, and there will be no practice for either team. There is no reschedule date.
Attention RSU 12 families! It is time to enroll for next year's preK program. If you have a child who will be 4-years-old on October 1, 2025, please contact the school in your town to ask about enrolling your child in PreK. The preK program is an all-day program and includes breakfast, lunch, and rest time as well as rich play-based learning experiences based on the PreK for ME curriculum. Each of our preK classrooms partners with Head Start. Contact any RSU 12 school for more information and to begin the enrollment process.
