Due to a lack of substitute drivers, Mr. Jeff's bus students will be dismissed and brought home one hour early this week, January 29-February 2. Due to the weather forecast for this afternoon, all RSU 12 after-school activities and athletics after 4 pm are canceled today.
At the January 2024 board meeting, the RSU 12 Board of Directors voted to amend this year's school calendar due to the unexpected amount of storm/emergency days we have had so far. There are two calendar amendments. March 15th will be a full student day. April 12th will be a student day with early dismissal at 11:30 am. Due to storm damage and power outages, we will have a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, December 19th. This delay will allow time for cleanup and assessment of the situation. Depending on the assessment, we may need to cancel school for the whole day tomorrow. Another communication will be sent out tomorrow morning at around 7 am with an update on whether or not school will be canceled for the day.
