All RSU 12 schools will be closed today, January 7, 2026, due to predicted snow, sleet, and freezing rain expected to last until about 12 pm.
High winds are forecasted for gusts up to 60 MPH starting around 1 pm today. This will most likely result in power outages, falling trees, and blocked roads. It also makes driving high-profile vehicles such as buses very difficult. All RSU 12 schools will release early today at 11:30 am, Friday, December 19, 2025.
Today's (12/15) girls varsity basketball game against Whitefield has been postponed. They will play at Whitefield on 1/22 @ 5:30.
All RSU 12 student after-school activities are canceled today, Wednesday, December 10th.

Reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10th, is voting day for the RSU 12 School Budget. Please don't forget to vote at your local polling station!

This is a reminder that if you are a resident of RSU 12, the RSU 12 District Budget meeting will take place this Wednesday, May 21st, at 6:30pm in the Chelsea Elementary School gym. Residents will vote on whether or not to approve the proposed budget, which has been unanimously endorsed by the RSU 12 Board of Directors. Please attend this important meeting. The budget approved on May 21st will go to referendum in all towns for a final vote on June 10th.

The fundraiser orders are in! If your child is in grades k-2 the orders are ready to be picked up in the lobby during school hours and until 3:30 every day. Small orders that will fit in backpacks will be sent home with the child.
Grades 3-8 orders will be ready tomorrow (April 30) in the lobby or will be sent home with students. You can also pick your orders up at the Learning Showcase for grades 3-8 tomorrow evening between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Thank you!

Attention RSU 12 families! It is time to enroll for next year's preK program. If you have a child who will be 4-years-old on October 1, 2025, please contact the school in your town to ask about enrolling your child in PreK. The preK program is an all-day program and includes breakfast, lunch, and rest time as well as rich play-based learning experiences based on the PreK for ME curriculum. Each of our preK classrooms partners with Head Start. Contact any RSU 12 school for more information and to begin the enrollment process.
