Congratulations to Parker Reynolds (1st place) and Ethan Barrett (2nd place) in the DAR Essay Contest Augusta Area Division. The boys received special certificates and Parker also received a monetary gift. It was also announced that Parker had won the state Essay Contest of 8th graders and has also won the New England (including NY) Division for 8th graders. His essay has now moved on to the National Contest.
