Congratulations to Saber Hanington who placed first in the State for the Secretary of State's Native American Essay Contest. Saber wrote about Native American farming. He and his 7th grade class will attend a special awards ceremony put on by the Secretary of State sometime after the holidays! Wonderful job, Saber!!!

8th Graders are selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits starting Wednesday, Dec. 13 - January 22. PICKUP is January 31, 2-4 pm , just in time for Superbowl! Erskine Shadow
All 8th Graders are invited to Shadow Erskine Academy on Monday, January 22, from 9:30 ish to 12 ish. Please keep in mind that if Erskine has a cancellation or 2-hour delay, the visit would automatically bump to Thursday, January 25. Erskine sends a bus to Windsor & picks the kids up here. They get a tour of Erskine Academy and get to shadow 1 class. Regular lunch will be provided for them by Erskine, (you'll have to check their website to see what it is that day) BUT they do have a la carte items that students can purchase out of pocket.
IF you know your child is NOT attending Erskine, this is a great day to set up a Shadow for another school. Please, do not schedule a Cony shadow on your own (I will be setting one up). To set up a Shadow, please contact that HS's Guidance Department, let them know that you have a Windsor Student who would like to Shadow for the day. They will give you a date & then, please contact the office, or let Ms. Diket know so that it is an excused absence.
